Salina Community Theatre will hold auditions for its second show of the season BASKERVILLE on Augut 14-15, 2017 at 7:00pm at the theatre. Doors open at 6:30pm. The production will be directed by Gary Demuth.
Performances are scheduled for October 20-Nov.5, 2017.
“Baskerville,” by Ken Ludwig, is a comedic retelling of “The Hound of the Baskervilles,” the classic Sherlock Holmes mystery written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. In Ludwig’s version, three actors play nearly 40 supporting characters to the leads, Holmes and Dr. Watson.
Called witty and suspenseful, with five talented actors protraying more than 40 hilarious characters. “The game’s afoot” .
The plot revolves around someone wanting to kill Sir Henry Baskerville, who inherited a large fortune when Sir Charles Baskerville was killed in mysterious circumstances. At the same time, a hellhound is said to be haunting the moors.

ACTOR ONE
Plays more than a dozen parts of various ages and physical types. Must be a versatile character actor, adept at physical comedy and able to do British and European accents. Age: 20 to 40
ACTOR TWO
Also plays nearly a dozen parts, including all the Baskerville heirs. Accents range from British to Texas. Must be versatile and adept at physical comedy. Age: 20 to 40
ACTRESS
