SCT Guild

The SCT Guild is organized for the purpose of assisting the Board of Directors of Salina Community Theatre in the promotion and operation of the Theatre. The Guild accomplishes this mission in many ways. Guild members process advance reservations for season ticket members, and also serve as ushers and house managers for performances. The Guild awards a $1000 college scholarship to one or more graduating seniors from Saline County who plan to study theatre or musical theatre in college. The Guild also helps SCT through annual contributions to the SCT Endowment and the Youth Theatre Endowment, and to the general operations of Youth Theatre. The Guild helps SCT purchase theatrical equipment, such as new lighting and box office computerization. They are responsible for decorating the theatre for the holidays, too!

Become a Guild Member

To be a member of the SCT Guild, one must be an SCT member (have a season ticket) and pay annual dues of $10. Each Guild member is required to serve on a Guild committee.

Are you interested in becoming an SCT volunteer?

The Salina Community Theatre Guild is a wonderful way to support Salina Community Theatre and Center for Theatre Arts. Since it’s organization in 1965, the SCT Guild has been a delightful support for the theatre as a whole. They focus the majority of their support to benefit the youth programs and 50% of the funds they raise is awarded to their annual scholarship recipient.

The SCT Guild meets the second Wednesday each month for a brunch meeting and volunteers to usher production on rotation.
